A memorandum regarding Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz serving as acting President due to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visits to Spain and Italy has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the memorandum published in the Official Gazette, due to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's planned visits to the Kingdom of Spain and the Republic of Italy between June 12-14, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will serve as acting President in accordance with Article 106 of the Constitution until Erdoğan's return.
