Minister announces: 3,000 new personnel to be hired for public sector

Minister Göktaş stated that new personnel will be hired to carry out ministry services more effectively, saying, "We will have 3,000 new hires to increase the quality of our services. I would like to share this good news with the entire public today."
MATERNITY AND PATERNITY LEAVE REGULATION ON THE AGENDA
Responding to questions regarding maternity and paternity leave, Göktaş drew attention to the ongoing work, stating, "Our work to increase it from 16 weeks to 24 weeks is on the agenda. We consulted with our group on this last week. We hope it will come to Parliament soon. We hope it will be at the beginning of 2026."
STATEMENT BEFORE BUDGET NEGOTIATIONS
Göktaş arrived at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) to attend the negotiations for the 2026 Central Government Budget and the 2024 Final Account Law Proposal. Minister Göktaş answered journalists' questions before the budget negotiations upon entering Parliament.
Responding to a question regarding the appointments, Göktaş said, "We will have 3,000 new hires to increase the quality of our services. I will express this today."
