Ministry announces: 1,900 TL budget for low-income families

The aid provided for low-income citizens is a support program for low-income individuals that has also been confirmed by Social Security Consultant Emin Yılmaz. As a result of the inflation figures announced in December, SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees will be paid an inflation adjustment in addition to a welfare share.

This payment is being made to protect the purchasing power of retirees and to provide support against the high cost of living.

SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES

The Family Support Package is a social assistance program offered by the state. Within the scope of this program, cash support in the amount of 1,900 TL will be provided to families in need in December. Approximately 4 million households will benefit from this support.

Social assistance payments will be made between December 20 and 31 via PTT and IBAN numbers. The Ministry announced that it has taken new measures to improve the economic situation of low-income citizens. In this context, support for families with children will be increased as a priority. In 2024, the amount of family assistance will be raised from 850 TL to 1,250 TL.

In addition, an extra payment between 350 TL and 650 TL will be made to families with children as a child support contribution. Thus, the total amount of support that families with children can receive will reach up to 1,900 TL.
