Ministry of National Education to hire 8 contract IT personnel

The Ministry of National Education (MEB) has announced that it will hire 8 contract IT personnel to be employed in its central organization. The recruitment will be conducted within the scope of the Regulation on Principles and Procedures for the Employment of Contracted IT Personnel in Large-Scale Information Processing Units of Public Institutions and Organizations.

Applications will be accepted between August 17 and August 21, 2026. Candidates eligible to take the exam will be announced on September 14, 2026. The oral/practical exam will be held between September 28 and October 2, 2026.

The ranking of candidates will be based on 70 percent of the KPSSP3 score obtained in the KPSS exams held in 2024 and 2025, and 30 percent of the YDS score or a foreign language score accepted as equivalent by the Council of Higher Education. Candidates who do not have a KPSS score or do not submit documentation will have their KPSS score evaluated as 70; those who do not submit a foreign language score will have that score accepted as 0.

According to this calculation, starting from the highest score, 10 times the number of announced contract IT personnel positions will be invited to the exam. Final placement will be made according to the success ranking resulting from the oral/practical exam.

It was reported that the guide for the exam will be published on www.meb.gov.tr, personel.meb.gov.tr, and via the Career Gate (Kariyer Kapısı). Information regarding special requirements can be obtained from the General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies, and information regarding general requirements can be obtained from the General Directorate of Personnel.
