New regulation coming for real estate prices in Istanbul
The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change is developing a new system to control excessive increases in housing and land prices. This application, called the Value Information Center, will be implemented in Istanbul in 2026.
It has been stated that the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change is working on a new practice to keep real estate prices at a certain level.
According to the report by Ekonomim, the ministry will display the market value of every property on maps in the application it will launch to take measures against price increases. Thus, citizens who want to invest will have transparent and accessible information about the values of the real estate they are interested in.

The digital building inventory studies carried out by the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre are being moved to a new dimension with the "Three-Dimensional City Models Project" and the "Value Information Center" application. Thanks to this system, citizens will be able to obtain comprehensive information about the investments they will make.
