Notary applications will now be accepted through a single method
The Ministry of Justice has announced that applications for notary certificates will be accepted exclusively through digital channels starting December 22. As of this date, the practice of physical applications will be discontinued.
The Ministry of Justice has announced that application and document procedures for notary certificates, regulated under the Notary Law No. 1512, will be moved entirely to an electronic environment.
The statement indicated that starting December 22, 2025, notary certificate applications will only be accepted through the electronic system, and physical applications will no longer be valid.
It was noted that candidates wishing to apply for a notary certificate can complete their procedures by logging into the application screen at vatandas.uyap.gov.tr using a secure electronic signature, e-Government password, or mobile signature.
It was also reported that all stages and results of the application process can be tracked through the same system.
