Notary fees increased! How much is the notary power of attorney fee in 2025?

With the approach of the new year, significant changes have been made to notary fees.

With the Notary Fee Schedule published in the Official Gazette, the new notary fees that will be effective as of January 1, 2025, were announced, and it was stated that an increase of 43.93 percent was applied to many items.

HOW MUCH IS THE NOTARY WILL FEE?

According to the new tariff, notaries will demand a notary fee at a rate of 30 percent of the fees they collect from their transactions according to the Law on Fees. This fee cannot be less than 44.56 TL for any notary transaction. In addition, when notaries prepare a real estate sales contract, they will charge a notary fee equal to one per thousand of the sales value of the real estate. However, this fee will not be less than 500 TL and more than 4,000 TL, depending on the value of the real estate.

Preparation fee: 783.82 TL

Translation fee: 196.62 TL

Travel allowance: 94.12 TL

Custody fee for deposits: 54.88 TL

Writing fee: 23.76 TL

Comparison fee: 23.76 TL

Notary fee for transactions exempt from fees, stamp duty, and taxes, and for expropriation notifications: 19.90 TL

Notary fee: 17.32 TL

Electronic verification fee: 10.60 TL

Registration fee: 7.42 TL

Book approval fee: 7.42 TL

Notification writing fee: 7.42 TL

Intermediation fee: 5.30 TL
