Official Gazette published: Massive price hike for products with fake 'halal' labels
The Halal Accreditation Agency has increased the fines imposed on organizations that place halal labels on products without accreditation by 58.46 percent.
The lower and upper limits for 2024 fines have been redetermined and published in the Official Gazette.
DECISION NOTIFIED
In the communique on the Revaluation of Administrative Fines of the Halal Accreditation Agency, it was stated that the administrative fines were determined according to the 58.46 percent revaluation rate set for 2023.
The communique will be valid until December 31, 2024.
