OGM WORKER RECRUITMENT ANNOUNCEMENT PUBLISHED! WHEN IS THE 4,500 WORKER RECRUITMENT APPLICATION?

The General Directorate of Forestry (OGM), affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, has announced the recruitment of temporary workers to be employed in its provincial organization.

The announcement included the following statements:

‘In accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles to be Applied in the Recruitment of Workers to Public Institutions and Organizations, a total of 4,500 temporary workers will be recruited to be employed in our General Directorate's provincial organization, consisting of 3,105 Forestry Worker positions, 812 Sprinkler Truck Driver positions, 160 Bulldozer Operator positions, 233 Grader Operator positions, 122 Excavator Operator positions, 36 Construction Equipment Operator positions, and 32 Tractor Operator positions.

Open job postings will be published through the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) between 10-14/03/2025, and candidates who meet the conditions specified in the announcement will make their applications through the Turkish Employment Agency during the announcement period.

Among the candidates applying for the titles of Forestry Worker, Sprinkler Truck Driver, Bulldozer Operator, Grader Operator, Excavator Operator, Construction Equipment Operator, and Tractor Operator, 4 (four) times the number of candidates for the quota specified in the job posting will be called for an oral and practical exam based on the result of the lottery to be drawn in the presence of a notary.

The place and date of the lottery for these candidates will be specified in the İŞKUR open job posting and will also be announced on the website of the relevant Regional Directorate of Forestry. In this regard, no written notification will be sent to the addresses of the candidates. The probation period for all announced positions is two months in accordance with Labor Law No. 4857. If the candidate workers are subject to the collective bargaining agreement applied in our administration, the probation period will be applied as four months.’’

HOW TO APPLY FOR OGM WORKER RECRUITMENT?

The General Directorate of Forestry (OGM), affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, has opened applications for temporary worker recruitment for the year 2025. Applications will be made through the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) between March 10, 2025, and March 14, 2025. Candidates will log into the İŞKUR system to complete the necessary procedures and submit their applications online.

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR OGM WORKER RECRUITMENT APPLICATION

• To be a Turkish citizen, in accordance with the regulations regarding the free practice of professions and arts by Turkish-descent foreigners in Turkey and their ability to work in the public or private sector, provided that the provisions of Law No. 2527 are reserved.
• To have completed the age of 18 as of the last day of the application period.
• Even if pardoned; not to have been convicted of crimes against the security of the state, the constitutional order and its functioning, national defense, state secrets or espionage, as well as embezzlement, extortion, bribery, theft, fraud, forgery, abuse of trust, fraudulent bankruptcy, rigging the bid, rigging the performance of the contract, laundering of assets resulting from crime, and smuggling.
• Not to be deprived of public rights as of the last day of the application.
• To meet the necessary educational status and other general and special conditions as of the last application date announced.
• Not to be receiving a retirement, old-age, or disability pension from any social security institution.
• To reside in the relevant settlement in accordance with the residency requirement specified in the open job posting published on İŞKUR.
• Candidates will only be able to apply for one profession.
• The applications of candidates who are subsequently determined not to meet the application requirements will be canceled by the administration at any stage of the announcement, lottery, examination, and appointment processes.
• 4 times the number of principal candidates and 4 times the number of substitute candidates for the quota specified in the open job posting will be determined by a lottery to be held in the presence of a notary. The date, place, and other information regarding the lottery will be published on the website of the relevant Regional Directorate.
