Personnel recruitment begins at ITU: A score of 55 in KPSS is enough! Application dates and requirements announced

Istanbul Technical University (ITU) will recruit a total of 64 contract personnel from various educational levels to be assigned to rectorate units. The recruitment will be based on 2024 KPSS (Group B) scores.

Applications began on August 20, 2026. Candidates must complete their application process by September 3, 2026, via the "Istanbul Technical University - Career Gate Public Recruitment" screen on e-Devlet.

In the announcement, 27 quotas have been allocated for general support staff positions open to high school and equivalent school graduates. For these positions, candidates are required to be under the age of 35 and to have scored at least 55 points in the 2024 KPSS P94 score type.

The university will also employ a total of 23 protection and security officers, consisting of 21 men and 2 women. Candidates applying for this position are required to have graduated from any associate degree program, be under the age of 35, hold a valid private security identification card, and have scored at least 65 points in the KPSS P93 score type.

The recruitment also includes 2 engineers, 2 technicians, and a total of 6 technician positions in various fields. There are also support staff quotas in areas such as garden maintenance and landscaping, painting, and welding, where relevant certificates are required.

KPSS base scores vary according to the position. While a score of 55 in KPSS P94 is sufficient for some high school graduate support staff positions, a score of 60 is required for technician positions. The KPSS P3 score will be taken into account for engineer recruitment, and the KPSS P93 score for security officer recruitment.

Applications will only be accepted electronically; applications made in person or by mail will not be evaluated. Candidates can only apply for one announcement or position. Applications made for more than one field will be considered invalid.

During the application process, diploma information, KPSS results, SGK service records, population registration samples, photo resumes, and, where necessary, documents regarding special requirements will be requested.
