Presidency of Migration Management to hire 40 assistant provincial migration experts: Application dates and requirements announced

The Presidency of Migration Management, affiliated with the Ministry of Interior, has announced that it will recruit 40 assistant provincial migration experts to be employed in its provincial organization. The recruitment will be carried out through an entrance exam for positions in the 8th and 9th grades within the General Administrative Services class.

The entrance exam will consist of two stages. The written exam will be administered by the Ankara Social Sciences University Continuing Education Application and Research Center (ASBÜSEM) on behalf of the Presidency of Migration Management. The oral exam will be conducted by the Presidency of Migration Management.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS AND CALENDAR

Applications will begin on September 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM and end on September 9, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Candidates will submit their applications online via the e-Government portal through the Presidency of Migration Management-Career Gate Public Recruitment service or the Career Gate platform. Applications made in person or by mail will not be accepted.

Candidates will be required to meet the general conditions specified in Article 48 of the Civil Servants Law No. 657. Additionally, it will be required to be a graduate of at least four-year programs in law, political science, economics, business administration, or economics and administrative sciences faculties, or from domestic or foreign higher education institutions whose equivalence is accepted by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

The 2024 or 2025 KPSS results will be taken into account for the application. Candidates must have scored at least 70 in the KPSSP6, KPSSP7, KPSSP16, KPSSP21, KPSSP26, KPSSP29, KPSSP30, KPSSP31, KPSSP32, KPSSP36, or KPSSP41 score types specified in the announcement. As a result of the ranking starting from the highest score, 20 times the number of vacant positions will be invited to the written exam.

For the age requirement, January 1, 2026, will be taken as the basis. Accordingly, candidates who have not completed the age of 35, meaning those born on or after January 1, 1991, will be able to apply.

Candidates eligible to take the written exam will pay the 200 TL exam fee between September 10-16, 2026. Exam entry documents can be obtained via the ASBÜSEM website between October 5-10, 2026.

The written exam will begin at 14:00 on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Ankara and will last 120 minutes. Candidates will be required to be present at the exam location one hour before the exam time and to have their exam entry document and one of the valid identification documents with them.

80 percent of the exam questions will consist of professional knowledge related to undergraduate education, and 20 percent will consist of basic knowledge regarding the field of duty of the Presidency of Migration Management. Among the candidates who score at least 70 on the written exam, up to four times the number of vacant positions will be invited to the oral exam.

In the oral exam, candidates' level of knowledge regarding the written exam subjects, power of expression and reasoning, representation ability, self-confidence, general culture, and openness to scientific and technological developments will be evaluated. To be considered successful in the entrance exam, it will be mandatory to score at least 70 points in each of the written and oral stages.

Announcements regarding the exam will be made via the official website of the Presidency of Migration Management and the Career Gate. No written notification will be sent to candidates.
