Published in the Official Gazette: New appointment and dismissal decisions from Erdoğan

Appointment and dismissal decisions regarding certain ministries and institutions have been published in the Official Gazette.

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan signed the decisions, according to which Hurşit Yıldırım was appointed as Deputy Minister of Justice; appointments were also made to senior positions in the Ministries of Treasury and Finance, Culture and Tourism, Health, and Transport and Infrastructure.

In the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Nazmi Zarifi Gürkan was appointed to the General Directorate of Public Accounts, Nuray Serdaroğlu Erbil to the General Directorate of Risk Analysis, Muhammet Faruk Aykut to the General Directorate of Public Capital Organizations and Enterprises, Kaan Kasım to the Presidency of Inspection, Hasan Kaymak to the Presidency of MASAK, and Ekrem Candan to the General Directorate of the National Lottery Administration.

In the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Birol İnceciköz was appointed to the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums, Erkin Yılmaz to the General Directorate of Copyright, and Birol Güven to the General Directorate of Cinema. Provincial Directors of Culture and Tourism were appointed for Düzce, Kastamonu, Samsun, and Sinop.

In the Ministry of Health, Asım Hocaoğlu was appointed as President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK), Osman Kan as General Manager of the General Directorate of Health for Borders and Coasts, İlhan Hatiboğlu as General Manager of Legal Services, Celal Şahin as General Manager of Management Services, Davut Eker as President of the Inspection Board, and Engin Karabaş as President of Strategy Development.

Veysi Kurt was appointed as the General Manager of TCDD under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.

New individuals were appointed to the positions of Regional Director for the Presidential Directorate of Communications in Adana, Afyonkarahisar, Antalya, Çanakkale, Edirne, and Erzurum.

In the Presidency of Strategy and Budget, Osman Nuri Erdem was appointed to the General Directorate of Plans and Programs, Esra Güler to the General Directorate of Economic Modeling and Conjuncture Assessment, Bahtiyar Sazlık to the General Directorate of Budget, Faruk Cirit to the General Directorate of Sectors and Public Investments, Selçuk Koç to the General Directorate of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) and International Development Cooperation, Murat Deliçay to the General Directorate of State Aids, and Mehmet Aydın to the General Directorate of Management Services.

New provincial muftis were appointed to 11 provinces, including Balıkesir, Kocaeli, and Sinop.

THOSE DISMISSED

By presidential decree, the following were dismissed from the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources: Ayhan Kandemir, Deputy General Manager of Turkish Coal Enterprises (TKİ); Abdulkerim Aydındağ, Deputy General Manager of the General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration (MTA); and Bayram Arı and Sami Sarıyıldız, Deputy General Managers of the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs.

From the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the following were dismissed: Maruf Aras and Mustafa Uzun, Deputy General Managers of the General Directorate of Water Management; and Murat Alp and Abdullah Ekin, Deputy General Managers of the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSİ).
