Swimming banned at Kerpe and Kovanağzı beaches in Kandıra
Due to adverse weather conditions in Kocaeli's Kandıra district, swimming has been banned for one day at all beaches except for Kerpe and Kovanağzı.
Swimming has been banned at some beaches in Kocaeli due to weather and sea conditions.
The district governor's office issued a statement regarding the ban, which covers the Cebeci, Bağırganlı, Kumcağız, Miço Koyu Women's, and Seyrek Public beaches in the district.
The statement said, "Due to weather and sea conditions, swimming is dangerous and prohibited on Friday, August 9, at all beaches in our Kandıra district except for Kerpe and Kovanağzı."
Citizens were warned to swim only within the buoyed areas in regions where lifeguard services are provided.
