Swimming banned in Sinop
The Sinop Provincial General Hygiene Board met under the chairmanship of Governor Mustafa Özarslan. During the meeting, swimming was banned in light of the storm warning issued by the meteorological service.
Due to the strong storm, with wave heights estimated to reach between 1 and 1.4 meters, a decision was made to ban swimming on Sunday along the northern coast, including the Türkeli district beaches, as well as Ayancık, Sarıkum, İnceburun, Hamsilos, Akliman, Kumkapı, and Ada, in order to protect the life and property safety of citizens.
Inspections regarding the swimming ban will be carried out by police and gendarmerie teams.
