Stonehenge was reconstructed approximately between 2620-2480 BC. During this process, stones were transported from various regions of Britain. In particular, the Altar Stone was brought from northeastern Scotland, approximately 700 kilometers away.

The transport of the stones was carried out without the use of wheels, likely with the help of wooden sleds and rails. This highlights the engineering skills of the ancient Britons.
