Fuell, founded by motorcycle industry veteran Erik Buell, is expanding its electric mobility product range with its new electric foldable bicycle, the Folld, designed for urban use. The Folld combines technology, performance, and ease of use, offering a compact and practical solution for city dwellers.

The bicycle can reach speeds of up to 25 kilometers per hour. At its core, the Folld stands out with a powerful rear hub motor supplied by the renowned Chinese specialist Bafang. This motor produces a nominal power of 250 watts and 85 Nm of torque, allowing the bicycle to reach a speed of 25 kilometers per hour. You need to pedal to exceed this speed, which ensures the bicycle complies with European e-bike regulations.

The Fuell Electric Folld bicycle features a 720 watt-hour battery integrated into the frame as another key design feature. This battery is elegantly integrated without creating a bulky appearance. It offers an impressive range of 110 kilometers on a single charge in its lowest assist setting. The bicycle also has five assist settings, but in compliance with European regulations, it does not have a throttle.

This feature increases the bicycle's utility, making it a great option for shopping in the city or carrying other essentials. However, the Folld's sturdy and durable construction brings its weight to 37.5 kilograms. This may be a consideration for those who need to carry their bicycles frequently.

Priced at approximately 2,495 euros (about 2,731 US dollars), the Folld is positioned as an affordable option in the e-bike market. Fuell is currently offering a promotional discount, further reducing the price. While it is not yet confirmed whether the Folld will be offered in the US market, with its attractive price and practical features, it presents an appealing option for urban commuters looking to travel in an eco-friendly and efficient way in the city.
