A highly useful feature is being tested in Gmail

Google had previously introduced a feature for the desktop version of Gmail that makes it easier to get rid of unwanted emails. It had become simpler to unsubscribe from bulk emails there. It has now emerged that this feature is also being tested for Android devices.

USER EXPERIENCE IN GMAIL WILL BE IMPROVED

Many brands require users to share their phone numbers and email addresses. Consequently, bulk promotional or various other emails arrive from dozens of brands, restaurants, or many other places. Wanting to make unsubscribing from these much more practical, Google is enabling users to say goodbye to email lists with a single click.

Normally, to unsubscribe from an email list or end a subscription, you have to open the relevant email and click on the 'unsubscribe links' at the very bottom. This is not practical at all.

In the Gmail Android app, however, it will become possible to block emails or unsubscribe with a single button.
