A new era in Google Search: Custom filters and advanced language practice

Google Search is testing "custom filters" to better serve user needs.

According to Log, citing 9to5google, these filters will allow users to personalize their searches and find what they are looking for faster. Users will be able to narrow down their searches by adding specific keywords and selecting only certain websites, file types, or domain types. With this feature, Google aims to save users time and improve their search experience.

Additionally, Google introduced a feature last year that offers English language practice for Android users. This feature had become available to users in Argentina, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Mexico, and Venezuela. The company aimed to help users improve their written and spoken English skills by gamifying this language practice infrastructure. Now, this process has entered a new era powered by artificial intelligence and based on Gemini. This new system is currently available only with English support and in specific countries. Google had stated that it plans to expand this system to other languages and countries in the future, but no information has been provided yet regarding when support for other languages will be offered.
