A rival for Chrome and other browsers: OpenAI introduces Atlas

OpenAI has introduced its new AI-powered web browser, which it calls "ChatGPT Atlas." According to the company's statement, Atlas was developed as a browser where ChatGPT is integrated and powered by artificial intelligence.

One of the most notable features of Atlas is that ChatGPT's memory is integrated into the browser. Thanks to this feature, information and details from users' previous conversations can be used in new tasks. The browser can remember information obtained from visited sites and retrieve this information when needed.

The browser memory, which operates based on user preference, allows users to view, archive, or delete this memory. Furthermore, it is stated that if the browsing history is cleared, the relevant memory records are also automatically removed.

ChatGPT Atlas is currently available for macOS users with Free, Plus, Pro, and Go plans. It is expected to be released for Windows, iOS, and Android platforms in the near future.

Another innovation in Atlas is the "agent mode." This mode can perform tasks such as conducting research, performing analysis, planning events, and scheduling appointments on behalf of users. For now, this feature is offered as a preview to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, and Business users.
