Access ban imposed on those instructions given to Grok

Grok, the artificial intelligence application of the X platform (formerly known as Twitter), had recently begun generating controversial images in response to certain requests that caught users' attention. It emerged that images of many individuals, including public figures and even children, were being manipulated with artificial intelligence without their consent, and these contents were circulating on social media.

Following these developments, the Freedom of Expression Association (İFÖD) announced that the "put a bikini on" commands given to Grok, which specifically targeted many people, primarily politicians, have now been blocked. In this context, inappropriate and unauthorized images shared on the platform are no longer being shown to users in Turkey.

This situation, which users have opened up for broad discussion, has once again brought sensitivities regarding privacy and personal rights in the internet environment to the agenda. While debates continue regarding the ethical use and oversight of artificial intelligence, social media giants continue to take additional measures to bring such content under control.
