Access issues again on e-Devlet: Citizens face delays in applications

e-Devlet, Turkey's most important digital service platform, has once again faced access problems as of this week. Citizens are experiencing difficulties logging into the system via both the website and the mobile application, and are unable to complete their transactions due to a "Technical failure" notification.

Users who have been trying to log into the system using their Turkish ID numbers and passwords since the morning hours have been met with the warning: "Your transaction could not be completed due to a technical failure in the system. Please try again later." As a result, temporary delays are occurring in processes such as retrieving documents, initiating transactions, or completing applications.

It is reported that the heavy application traffic has increased even further due to the 500,000-unit social housing project by TOKİ, which began in recent days. When tens of thousands of people try to access e-Devlet at the same time, a significant load is placed on the platform, leading to temporary system crashes.

This access barrier did not occur only today. A similar technical failure occurred last week due to the density of TOKİ applications, and citizens encountered the same warning screen then as well. It is anticipated that the new problem, which occurred after only a few days, is caused by the continuity of application demands.

There has been no official statement from the authorities yet. However, technical officials state that this density is temporary and that the e-Devlet platform is expected to return to normal shortly. Once the system becomes operational again, it will be possible to retrieve documents and complete applications.
