Alarm issue on iPhones: Apple is working on a fix!

According to complaints that have been ongoing on social media since Friday, some iPhone users' alarms are not ringing. This situation has negatively affected many people by disrupting daily routines such as going to work, getting to school on time, and keeping track of medication schedules.

According to a report on Webtekno, Apple confirmed in a statement to the Today Show that it is aware of the issue and that it stems from a software bug. The company stated that work is underway to fix the bug and that the issue will be resolved soon with a software update.

WHAT CAN USERS DO?

Until an official solution is provided by Apple, iPhone users can try the following steps:

Check the device volume: Ensure that your alarm volume is turned up and at an audible level.

Turn off Attention Aware Features: There are some reports that the Attention Aware feature may be suppressing alarm sounds. You can turn this feature off by going to Settings > Accessibility > Face ID & Attention > Attention Aware Features.

Disable StandBy mode: Go to Settings > StandBy and turn this feature off.

Use the default alarm sound: Try using the iPhone's default alarm sound instead of a custom one. To do this, open the Clock app, tap on your alarm, and go to Sound.

Follow updates: Apple is expected to release a software update to resolve the issue as soon as possible. By following updates and installing them on your device, you can prevent the issue from recurring.
