Apple announces expected release date for Vision Pro

Many release date predictions were put forward for the Apple Vision Pro, but the company recently announced a date that puts these claims to rest. Accordingly, the Vision Pro, which will first go on sale in the US, will be available for purchase in approximately 1 month, on February 2, 2024.

PRE-ORDERS FOR APPLE VISION PRO START THIS MONTH

Along with the release date, another announcement was made for Apple's highly anticipated but somewhat underwhelming mixed reality headset.

It had been criticized that the Vision Pro normally offered 2 hours of battery life on a single full charge. Apple seems to have listened to these criticisms, as it has increased the device's battery life to 2 and a half hours.

Pre-orders for the device begin on January 19.

Apple CEO Tim Cook had said the following about the Vision Pro:

"The era of spatial computing has arrived. Apple Vision Pro is the most advanced consumer electronics device ever created. Its revolutionary and magical user interface will redefine how we connect, create, and explore."
