Apple Watches are changing

It had previously been claimed that the Apple Watches to be released in 2024 (Apple Watch X) would feature a different design to mark the device's tenth anniversary. Specifically, it was suggested that the Apple Watch Series 10, or perhaps the Series X, would change the way bands are attached.

Sharing a new leak regarding Apple, Kosutami stated that they are certain a major change is coming with the new model. Kosutami noted that the design of the band attachment points on the new Apple Watches will change, and that old straps will not be compatible with the new watches.

The claim that this change will also apply to the next-generation Apple Watch X has raised the possibility that a similar situation could occur with the Apple Watch Ultra 3. It seems unlikely that Apple would implement such a significant redesign for the Series 10 but not for the Ultra.

However, recent reports compiled from information leaked by sources close to Apple claim that a new Apple Watch Ultra model will not be released in 2024.

Previous rumors regarding Apple changing the way bands attach to the Apple Watch had claimed that the new system would be magnetic.
