According to the financial statements, the company's net profit also gained strong momentum, rising by 19 percent to $29.6 billion (this figure was $24.8 billion in the same quarter last year). Apple's earnings per share increased from $1.65 to $2.01 during this period.

Market expectations were exceeded in both revenue and net profit items.

The increase in Apple's hardware sales also drew attention in the balance sheet.

Sales of the flagship product, the iPhone, reached approximately $57 billion, a 22 percent year-on-year increase.

However, despite this double-digit growth, iPhone revenues remained slightly below market expectations.

As for other hardware items;

Mac sales increased by approximately 6 percent to $8.4 billion,

iPad sales increased by 8 percent to $6.9 billion.

Record in service revenues

In addition to hardware, 'service' revenues (App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, etc.), which are among the most important pillars of the Apple ecosystem, also set a new quarterly record. The company's service revenues increased by 16 percent to $30.98 billion.
