Artificial intelligence takes on education

The fact that many students have been using artificial intelligence to complete their exams and assignments has triggered a new debate regarding education.

According to a report by Ömer Dursun from Shiftdelete, Arizona State University (ASU) in the US has announced that it will incorporate ChatGPT into its education system. Accordingly, the university will take significant steps to ensure that the assistant, based on the GPT-4 language model, is actively used in classroom instruction.

Thanks to the agreement, ASU will become the first university to explore generative artificial intelligence in education by gaining access to the ChatGPT Enterprise platform. ASU 'faculty members' will have the right to use ChatGPT Enterprise Edition to improve student success and conduct innovative research.

'It will help them learn faster'

Providing information on the subject, ASU Chief Information Officer Lev Gonick stated that courses in classes with thousands of students will be conducted with GPT-4 support. He stated that a 'personalized faculty member' would be created using ChatGPT.

ASU President Michael Crow also emphasized that artificial intelligence would help students better understand course materials and learn faster. Students will also have access to ChatGPT Enterprise Edition.
