The first game to be removed from the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog in November has been confirmed. According to system notifications that Sony has begun sending to PS5 users, Grand Theft Auto V will leave the service as of November 17, 2026.
This date falls two days before the release of Rockstar Games' highly anticipated new title, GTA 6. Therefore, users who want to replay GTA V via their PS Plus Extra subscription have limited time left to access the game.
The catalog on subscription-based gaming services is updated regularly. While new games are added to the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus, some titles are removed from the library after certain periods.
It is known that GTA V has been added to PS Plus Extra periodically in the past. It is noted that the game has been in the catalog three times since December 2023, and that another Rockstar title, Red Dead Redemption 2, has similarly entered and left the service.
New titles to be added to the PlayStation Plus game catalog are expected to be announced on October 14. Among the games announced for September were F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.
