Boston Dynamics has released a retirement video for its Atlas robot, which drew attention with its human-like movements, running, and weightlifting, but also frequently fell and caused amusing moments. Additionally, a new all-electric Atlas has been introduced.
Boston Dynamics has retired the Atlas robot, which excited many people when it first appeared and led to questions like "Will robots take over the world?"
In the farewell video the Hyundai-owned brand filmed for Atlas, moments of the robot lifting weights, running, and tumbling were featured. The note "Until we meet again, Atlas." was also shared in the video.
NEW ATLAS INTRODUCED
While Boston Dynamics is retiring the famous hydraulically-powered Atlas robot, it has introduced a new all-electric Atlas robot.
The new Atlas is expected to work in Hyundai factories before being brought to market.
