The business-focused platform now includes entertainment! Games are coming to LinkedIn!
LinkedIn is preparing to go beyond its role as a job search and networking platform by incorporating games. This new feature aims to make the platform more engaging and ensure users spend more time on the site.
Microsoft-owned business-focused social platform LinkedIn is set to be enriched with a new feature. Users who utilize LinkedIn for job hunting and connecting with colleagues will soon be able to play games on the platform.
According to a report in Chip, app analyst Nima Owji announced in a post this weekend that he had found clues indicating that the Microsoft-owned LinkedIn is working on new games. A company official also confirmed this to TechCrunch.

There are going to be a few different games and companies will be ranked in the games based on the scores of their employees!
Pretty cool and fun, in my opinion! pic.twitter.com/hLITqc8aqw
LinkedIn's parent company, Microsoft, works on games for Xbox consoles and PC through its own gaming division. However, according to information TechCrunch obtained from a LinkedIn spokesperson, there is no clear information yet on whether Microsoft is working on these upcoming puzzle games. Furthermore, how LinkedIn plans to generate revenue from these games remains uncertain.
