BYD ships 7,000 new vehicles from China to Turkey
China-based electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has shipped 7,000 vehicles to the Turkish market.
China-based electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has shipped 7,000 vehicles to the Turkish market. The vehicle carrier ship named Changzhou departed from China's Ningbo Port and arrived at Safiport in Derince, Kocaeli, after a 39-day sea voyage.

BYD MARKET VALUE REACHES 162 BILLION DOLLARS
This shipment by BYD has been recorded as part of its activities in the Turkish market. Following its increased global sales performance in the first quarter of 2025, the company decided to expand its operations in Turkey. It was reported that as of March, BYD reached a market value of 162 billion dollars.

INCREASED ACTIVITY IN THE EUROPEAN MARKET
It is observed that BYD has also recently increased its activities in the European market. In response to customs duties imposed on China by Europe and the US, the company is exporting from its production facilities in India and Taiwan.

1 BILLION DOLLAR PRODUCTION FACILITY IN MANISA
As part of its investment plans in Turkey, BYD has a 1 billion dollar production facility project in Manisa. With the completion of this facility, an increase in the company's production capacity in Turkey is expected.
