Critical Gmail warning from Google

Drawing attention to the recent rise in phishing attacks and data breaches, the company emphasized that users should utilize the two-factor authentication (2FA) system to enhance account security.

It was noted that the hacker group known as 'ShinyHunters' has been carrying out attacks involving ransom demands via fake email addresses. According to statements by cybersecurity expert Jeremiah Fowler, 184 million passwords were leaked onto the internet in May alone.

The Google Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG) pointed to groups named 'UNC6040' and 'UNC6395' regarding data breaches occurring on Salesforce servers. It was announced that these groups send emails with fake suspicious login notifications to deceive users.

Change your passwords regularly.
