Cyber threat from Russian hackers to ChatGPT users!

It has been alleged that Russian hackers have launched a cyberattack on OpenAI's popular artificial intelligence bot, ChatGPT.

According to claims shared on a Darknet forum, hackers have collectively seized the login credentials of ChatGPT users.

According to a report by the GbHackers portal, a Russian hacker named "emirking" claimed to have stolen "access codes belonging to more than 20 million OpenAI accounts."

It is stated that the email addresses and passwords belonging to these accounts have been put up for sale on the Darknet. If these claims are verified, it could mean facing a large-scale data breach.

ATTACK NOT VERIFIED

While OpenAI has not confirmed that such an attack has taken place so far, it stated in a comment to the Decrypt platform, "We have found no evidence that this incident is linked to a breach of OpenAI systems."

Although the company stated that it takes the allegations seriously, it underscored that there is no concrete evidence yet of a security vulnerability within OpenAI.
