DeepSeek banned in another country!
The Chinese artificial intelligence application DeepSeek has been removed from app stores in South Korea due to concerns over user data collection and privacy violations.

DATA TRANSFERRED TO TIKTOK
Following an investigation, the South Korean Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC) revealed that DeepSeek had been transmitting user data to ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok.
SOUTH KOREA'S DECISION
The PIPC banned the download of the application on the grounds that DeepSeek did not comply with Korea's privacy laws and failed to implement sufficient security measures to protect user data. The commission announced that the application would be available for download again if DeepSeek makes the necessary adjustments to become compliant with the laws.
