Dubai becomes the first city to offer flying taxi service
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced that Dubai is the first city in the world to offer flying taxi service.
A statement regarding the matter was made on the X social media account of the UAE news agency WAM.
The statement noted that the flying taxi, which has a capacity to carry a pilot and 4 passengers, is zero-emission.
45-MINUTE JOURNEY WILL BE REDUCED TO 10 MINUTES
It was reported that the flying taxi, which has a maximum flight range of 161 kilometers and a maximum speed of 320 kilometers per hour, will have a total of 4 stations: near Dubai International Airport, in Downtown in the city center, at Dubai Marina, and at Palm Jumeirah.
The statement pointed out that the travel time between Dubai International Airport and Palm Jumeirah, which is 45 minutes, will be reduced to 10 minutes with the flying taxi.
