Following the recent decision by the game sales platform Steam to stop processing transactions in Turkish Lira, Electronic Arts (EA) has also removed support for the Turkish Lira and begun selling via the dollar exchange rate. With this change, the EA Play monthly subscription has increased from 39.99 TL to 4.99 dollars.

EA Play, one of the platforms frequently preferred by gamers, has ended its support for the Turkish Lira and has begun selling through the dollar exchange rate in its digital store.

With EA Play's withdrawal of Turkish Lira support, fees have increased 3.5 times. Monthly and annual membership prices have been updated as follows:

- EA Play Standard Package: Was 39.99 TL, now 4.99 dollars (approximately 145 TL)

- EA Play Annual Package: Was 249.99 TL, now 29.99 dollars (approximately 870 TL)

- EA Play Pro Standard Package: Was 149.99 TL, now 14.99 dollars (approximately 435 TL)

- EA Play Pro Annual Package: Was 999.99 TL, now 99.99 dollars (approximately 2900 TL).
