Elon Musk announces: First rocket carrying humanoid robots to Mars will be sent in 2026

Musk stated on his social media platform X that if the trial yields positive results, Starship could begin taking humans to Mars in 2029, adding that "2031 is more likely."

THE LARGEST ROCKET EVER BUILT

SpaceX's next-generation spacecraft, Starship, holds the distinction of being the largest rocket ever built, with a height of 123 meters. Musk believes that Starship could initiate interplanetary travel for humans.

While the rockets launched in the three previous trials exploded in mid-air, the company emphasized that such failures are part of the development process. Highlighting that the rocket achieves a new milestone with each attempt, SpaceX launched the rocket into space just last week. The company noted that Starship had performed its longest and most successful test flight to date, but that communication with the rocket was lost.
