Epic Games hit by cyberattack: User information at risk!
Epic Games, one of the world's most popular gaming companies, has been hit by a major cyberattack. Attackers have seized 189 GB of data containing sensitive user information, including emails, passwords, full names, payment details, and source code.
Epic Games has recently been subjected to a major cyberattack. The ransomware group Mogilevich, which carried out the cyberattack, announced that they had silently infiltrated the company's servers and seized approximately 200 GB of data. This data includes sensitive user information, email addresses, passwords, full names, payment details, source code, and other critical information.
The Mogilevich gang has put the seized data up for sale and set March 4 as the deadline for potential buyers. However, no information regarding the sale price of the data has been provided.
Epic Games has not yet made an official statement, but given the severity of the situation, it is believed that the company may have taken steps to implement security measures and inform its users.
