As of 2023, Apple does not have a device with a foldable screen. While the company has not made the move expected for years on the iPhone side, there are new claims regarding this step, which has become 'more likely' over the years for the iPad side.
The company is reportedly working on a foldable iPad for a long time. In this context, it could appear at the end of 2024 or during 2025.
WHAT WILL APPLE'S FOLDABLE DEVICE BE LIKE?
According to new claims put forward by Digitimes, the device is in the development stage. Apple, which is developing a foldable iPad, has reportedly been working on this device for four years.
Although there are some predictions regarding its design, it still cannot go beyond being a rumor.
It is also said that Apple is struggling because making a foldable device is very costly, and for this reason, it has made 'different decisions' for a lower-cost device. In other words, its design may not be as ambitious as iPhone, iPad, or MacBook devices.
