Footage from EA’s Iron Man game leaked: Company confirms development
Approximately three minutes of footage from the Iron Man game, a partnership between EA and Marvel, has surfaced online; EA has confirmed that the project is ongoing.
The Marvel’s Iron Man project, about which EA has long remained silent, has returned to the spotlight following the leak of gameplay footage online. The approximately three-minute video, which is said to be from the game in its development phase, shows Tony Stark’s armor, flight mechanics, and combat scenes.

A social media post from EA following the leak also pointed to the authenticity of the footage. In its post, the company stated that this was not the plan, but that players have now seen the project, and announced that they will show more when they are ready.

WHAT WAS SEEN IN THE LEAK?
The footage highlights scenes where Iron Man can fly at high speeds in large areas, change direction, and engage in combat with groups of robot enemies. It is seen that energy weapons, missiles, and melee moves are used in combat; some enemies are neutralized with special finishing animations.
Not only gameplay mechanics but also some familiar characters from the Marvel universe draw attention in the video. In addition to characters thought to be Pepper Potts, Obadiah Stane, Henry Pym, and Madame Masque, it is stated that Ultron, Iron Monger, and Yellowjacket also appear in the footage. There is no official information yet regarding the roles of these characters in the story.
It is understood that the leaked recording belongs to an early development version. The fact that some environmental elements, textures, and animations appear incomplete indicates that the game is still in active development. The “AUG26 TEST” watermark and user ID on the screen also reinforce the impression that the video comes from a testing phase.
EA announced in 2022 that it had reached an agreement with Marvel for at least three games, and later announced that one of these projects would be Iron Man. However, limited information about the game has been shared since that date. The company’s cancellation of the Black Panther game in development in 2025 and the closure of the relevant studio had raised questions about the future of the Iron Man project.
Marvel’s Iron Man is being developed by Motive Studios, known for the Dead Space remake. EA has not yet announced the game’s release date, platforms, or official promotional schedule.
