Gemini and Siri are joining forces

With an announcement made by Google officials at the Cloud Next 2026 event, it has been confirmed that the next-generation Siri will be powered by Google Gemini models. This officially confirms the claims that had previously emerged.

According to the statement, the new Gemini-based Siri will be a key part of the Apple Intelligence infrastructure developed by Apple. The first comprehensive presentation of this system is expected to take place at the WWDC event in June.
