Google Maps is also getting smarter
Google is now bringing its generative artificial intelligence capabilities to Maps. The feature, currently in the early access stage, is available for now only in certain regions and for select Local Guides members.
Essentially, this tool allows you to discover new places while traveling through a country or city.
According to the report on Chip.com.tr, you can ask the application any question you want, and in return, it analyzes information about more than 250 million places, as well as data provided by community members within the Local Guides program, to give you a suitable result.
For example, when you are looking for an ideal restaurant for a group of friends with different dietary restrictions, the application offers a restaurant that meets everyone's needs.
GUARANTEE OF 'FLAWLESS' OPERATION
Google says the system will work flawlessly “no matter how specific, niche, or broad your needs are.”
Furthermore, since this tool is a generative AI product, you can ask for much more; for instance, you could request that it find the most suitable spot for a picnic after you have finished grocery shopping.
