It was emphasized that these devices, which have gained interest with remote work and hybrid business models, could risk the data security of both individuals and companies by containing malicious software.

These devices, also known as "mouse jigglers," aim to prevent computers from entering sleep mode and keep the user appearing online. However, experts state that devices obtained from unknown sources, in particular, can lead to serious security vulnerabilities. Kaspersky Principal Security Researcher Marc Rivero stated, “These devices can be an entry point for cybercriminals. It is critical that employees are trained on cybersecurity and that reliable security software is used.”
