How to hide apps on Android? Simple steps for privacy

Removing certain apps from view on Android phones or tablets can be preferred for privacy reasons, especially on devices used by multiple people. Android's app hiding options can be used to keep work apps away from children's access, hide sensitive apps from prying eyes, or simply make the app list more organized.

The process of hiding an app does not mean deleting or disabling it from the device. Hidden apps may not appear in the app drawer or search results; however, they remain installed on the device and continue to function as they should.

This method should not be viewed as a firewall that makes apps completely inaccessible. Access to hidden apps may be possible depending on device settings and the manufacturer's interface. Therefore, it is recommended to use additional security measures such as screen locks, app locks, and strong passwords for sensitive data.
