Instagram introduces new feature to warn users
Instagram, one of the world's largest social media platforms, has launched a new feature to reduce the time young users spend on the app.
Instagram has introduced a new nighttime alert feature aimed at limiting the time young users spend on the app. This feature is designed to discourage young users from using Instagram late at night.
If a user spends more than 10 minutes in sections such as Reels or DMs, the new nighttime alert will be triggered.
'NIGHTTIME ALERTS' FEATURE
The alert will remind users that it is late and encourage them to close the app and go to sleep.

After the "Time for a break?" notification, Instagram will send messages such as "It's getting late, you should consider closing Instagram." These alerts will appear if young people watch Reels or message for 'more than 10 minutes' late at night. This feature will automatically activate after 10:00 PM and cannot be turned off.
These messages will serve only as a reminder, and users will be able to ignore them and continue using the app if they wish.
