It has been suggested that Apple may change its pricing policy for the upcoming iPhone series. According to estimates by IDC analysts, the global increase in memory and storage costs may be reflected in the price tags of the iPhone 18 family.

The company raised prices on Macs, iPads, and some home products last week. While it is stated that the main reason behind these increases is the memory crisis in the technology sector, it is assessed that the same pressure could be felt in the new iPhone models.

SHARPER INCREASES EXPECTED FOR PRO MODELS

According to the estimates, Apple could implement a price increase for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models starting from 100 dollars and going up to 200 dollars. For the standard iPhone 18, a potential price hike of approximately 50 dollars is being discussed.

In this scenario, it is stated that the starting price of the iPhone 18 Pro could rise to the 1,249 dollar to 1,299 dollar band, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max could be positioned in the 1,349 dollar to 1,399 dollar range. A price estimate in the 2,500-3,000 dollar range is also being made for the foldable iPhone expected to be introduced in September.

Apple generally tries to maintain the previous year's starting prices for new iPhone models. However, the fact that demand for artificial intelligence applications is increasing costs for RAM and storage components could change the picture this time.
