Apple is collecting screen supply bids for its new iPhone SE 4 smartphones. The most significant detail to emerge from the supply discussions is the screen size of the iPhone SE 4.
According to a report in Webtekno, information from the iPhone supply chain indicates that Samsung, BOE, and Tianma are in talks with Apple to produce the OLED screens for the iPhone SE 4. As a result of these discussions, the Chinese manufacturer BOE appears to be the closest to securing the contract. It has also been revealed that the screen dimensions of the new iPhone SE 4 will be the same size as the iPhone 14 screens.
The fourth-generation iPhone SE will feature a 6.1-inch screen size, similar to the iPhone 14. Apple will pay a significantly lower amount for these panels than it pays for iPhone 15 panels.
