Is there a burnt plastic smell coming from the Galaxy S24 S-Pen? Users are complaining

Samsung's newest flagship, the Galaxy S24 family, is drawing attention with its state-of-the-art features. However, the S-Pen comes only with the Galaxy S24 Ultra model.

According to a report on Webtekno, users have been complaining about a strange situation for the past few days. As more people check for this issue, the number of complaints is increasing. Users state that the S-Pen emits a strange odor, describing the smell as chemical or like burnt plastic.

"IT WILL PASS OVER TIME"

A moderator on the Samsung Europe forum made the following statement regarding the issue:

"There is nothing to worry about regarding this. The S-Pen is located close to the internal hardware inside the phone. This causes the plastic to heat up during use. This smell might seem like burning to some users, but it is no different from the smell you get from a car that has been sitting in the sun. A similar smell can also be found in car seats or plastic materials, but this smell will pass over time."
