The site JustWatch, which tracks which platforms host specific series, movies, or sports matches, has shared data on the most used online series and movie platforms in Turkey for the third quarter of the year.
SURPRISING DATA
Although Netflix is often the first platform that comes to mind when we think of online series and movie platforms, JustWatch data has revealed that it is not the most popular platform in Turkey.
AT THE TOP AGAIN
According to data covering the period from January 1, 2023, to September 30, 2023, the most popular online series and movie platform in Turkey is Blu TV, just as it was in previous data. The platform, which holds the lead by a wide margin, is followed by Netflix.
CAMPAIGN MAY HAVE WORKED
It is claimed that another reason for this could be a campaign run by an e-commerce site in Turkey. According to the campaign conducted by the e-commerce site, users are given a free Blu TV membership after purchasing a 'premium' account.
