Lady Gaga is coming to Fortnite!

Grammy-winning singer Lady Gaga has announced her collaboration with Fortnite developer Epic Games in a post on her official X account.

We say that the names joining Fortnite's ever-expanding roster of celebrities can no longer surprise us, because they keep signing surprising collaborations. World-famous music stars, movie stars, superheroes, and film characters are all featured in the game. Just when you think no one more famous could possibly come, someone even more famous arrives.

This time, that famous name is Lady Gaga. In a cryptic post on Twitter, the pop star shared an image of her Fortnite character shrouded in bright light and fog. The image points to the date February 22 and hints at an upcoming announcement regarding Fortnite Festival.

As evidenced by Lady Gaga's nod to her previous mispronunciation of Fortnite as "fortnight", this collaboration came as a surprise to many.

Celebrities who have collaborated with Fortnite include Travis Scott with his Astronomical event; the rapper brought together millions of players worldwide by performing a live concert within the game. More recently, The Weeknd released the music video for his song "Popular" during Fortnite Festival.

Despite initial challenges, moderate reviews, and technical limitations, Fortnite Festival continues to evolve. Epic Games stated that it would prioritize controller support, a key feature missing at launch, and announced a special partnership with PDP to develop a new wireless guitar compatible with both Rock Band 4 and Fortnite Festival.
