Meta has designed new glasses for the visually impaired! Meet Aria Gen 2
Meta has unveiled its Aria Gen 2 glasses. The new model is equipped with sensors that can measure heart rate and microphones capable of distinguishing ambient sounds. Operating on low power, the glasses can perceive the user's surroundings more precisely thanks to advanced cameras and microphones.
DESIGNED FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED
Aria Gen 2 contributes to the indoor navigation technology developed by Carnegie Mellon University for visually impaired individuals.
Furthermore, it can perform tasks such as eye tracking, hand tracking, and voice recognition continuously for 6-8 hours.
Meta aims to contribute to advancements in artificial intelligence and robotics by sharing these glasses with research laboratories and business partners.

COMING TO MARKET SOON
Meta states that Aria Gen 2 has the potential to increase industrial and societal benefits by laying the foundation for future artificial intelligence platforms.
The device will be released for commercial use in the near future.
